Safety Guidelines

Mystique Medical Spa is open to operate as an authorized business under federal, state, county, and city ordinances and restrictions related to COVID-19. In June, as per Governor Newsom’s order prohibiting indoor personal care services by individuals licensed by the California Board of Barbering and Cosmetology, Mystique Medical Spa paused all related services including facials and microdermabrasion. All other services at Mystique Medical Spa, including Botox Cosmetic, Juvederm family of fillers, CoolSculpting, laser hair removal, and more, are elective medical procedures, delivered by licensed professional physicians and registered nurses under the supervision of a physician, consistent with the Medical Board of California’s guidance on medical spas. In addition, the County of Fresno also permits medical spas to continue providing elective medical procedures as long as they implement disinfectant and social distancing guidelines as per the CDC recommendations. Mystique Medical Spa has gone above and beyond the requirements and has implemented new procedures for the safety of their patients and staff. We are asking that all patients review our new guidelines prior to their appointment.

1. Before You Enter

We are asking patients to call us at 559-447-LASER (5273) when you enter the parking lot for your appointment so we can gather your paperwork as well as prepare a designated chair for you.

We are asking that you come to your appointment alone; no children, friends or family allowed in the room while you are receiving treatment.

2. Covid-19 Screening

Then you will go through a COVID-19 screening once you walk in the door which includes a series of questions, as well as a temperature check.

3. Waiting Room

Once you are in our facility you will notice that we are limiting the number of patients we have in our office at one time and we have re-designed our reception area to increase social distancing. You will also notice that we are limiting the number of staff that each patient meets and requiring all staff and patients to wear a mask while inside the building, aside from when having a service performed.

4. Designated Sanitation

Before and after every procedure our Designated Sanitizing Officers who have been trained in disinfection procedures and sanitize each room. In addition, we are extending appointment times to ensure we have enough time for proper sanitation in between patients.

5. Curbside Product Pickup

If you are only picking up product, we are now offering curbside pickup. Simply order by phone, arrange a pickup time and we will bring your product out to your vehicle.
