VI Peels

VI Peels are an effective treatment with minimal downtime that can be done in about an hour to address the visible skin imperfections that result from skin aging and sun exposure, such as fine lines and wrinkles, uneven skin tone and texture. Peels also address skin tone unevenness that can be caused by acne scarring or pigmentary changes.

The “peel” part is nothing more than exfoliation, which is very important to healthy, youthful looking skin. When you exfoliate your skin you are peeling away dead skin cells and allowing new skin cell growth and an increase in collagen production. Patients do see results with just one treatment, however a series of 3 to 6 treatments is the best way to get optimal results.

Patients experience mild to moderate redness is expected after any type of chemical peel procedure. The extent of redness varies from patient to patient and depends on the type of peel. The face may appear redder than usual for some time after the treatment and completely resolves after the peeling is complete.
