We use JUVÉDERM® VOLUMA® XC to augment and enhance the cheeks and mid-face. This filler is specifically formulated to restore volume beneath the skin, lifting and enhancing the contour of the cheeks. As we age, the cheeks can lose their fullness, and the skin may become lax and start to sag. This is due to a natural reduction in volume in the midface area, a condition known as age-related volume loss.
JUVÉDERM® VOLUMA® XC provides long-lasting results for up to two years.
Side effects can include injection site reactions, including pain, redness, discoloration, bruising, swelling, tenderness, firmness, bumps, lumps, redness, and itching. These effects were typically temporary and moderate in discomfort and generally resolved within 2 to 4 weeks. As with any injectable procedure, there is also a potential risk of infection.
As you age, facial wrinkles, including nasolabial folds, can become more noticeable. JUVÉDERM® VOLUMA® XC is formulated to temporarily restore volume to these areas, resulting in a smoother, more youthful look.
