I’m Barbara Krikorian Tryk, and I proudly serve as the Chief Operating Officer of Mystique Med Spa and First Health Medical Center in Fresno, CA.

With nearly two decades of experience in the medical and aesthetics industries, I’ve developed a unique perspective, sharp expertise, and a deep passion that I bring to everything I do. I’m naturally friendly and love connecting with people, believing that exceptional service starts with building trust and understanding.

As part of a family-owned business, I’ve been involved alongside my father from a young age. We saw an opportunity to expand First Health Medical Center Inc., and together, we introduced Botox Cosmetic to Fresno in a way that hadn’t been seen before. This move helped spark interest in medical aesthetics and led to the creation of Mystique Medical Spa and Wellness Center. My father, Dr. K, and I focused on providing top-notch care with visible results, and today, we’re proud to be known as the leading aesthetic destination. In 2018, I took the reins as Chief Operating Officer, and now, I’m lucky to lead a fantastic team of over 40 highly-trained providers and staff who are committed to delivering outstanding service with the latest technology for truly remarkable results.

I stay up-to-date with the latest in the industry by attending training with Allergan Aesthetics, including CoolSculpting Masters, CoolSculpting MBA, SkinMedica Skincare Summits, and Master’s Seminars. As someone who’s deeply invested in the field, I use my knowledge to help the world of medical aesthetics continue to grow, and I’m honored to be an Allergan Aesthetics key opinion leader and industry consultant.

When I am not at work, you might see me traveling to Kauai and Tahoe. I love spending time in nature with my husband and 4 legged babies. We have 5 dogs, 1 cat and 2 tortoises roaming around our “zoo” at home. I am expecting my first baby and cannot wait to embark on the journey of motherhood!

Hi, my name is Abby and I am an aesthetics provider at Mystique Medical Spa, as well as a medical provider at our sister company, First Health Medical Center. With over 10 years of experience in the medical field, I am a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, MSN, RN), and have certifications from Allergan Master Expert training and CoolSculpting University.

I have been practicing in medical aesthetics for 4 years and have a genuine passion in helping people look and feel their best. I enjoy the precision and creativity that come with enhancing one’s natural beauty through skincare products and aesthetic treatments. During my spare time, I love spending time with my family and playing piano. As well as indulging in reality TV, preferably with a glass of champagne in my hand!

My name is Jenna, I am an aesthetic provider here at Mystique Medical Spa! I started my career as a registered nurse in the hospital setting, working on the neuroscience step down unit before transitioning to the amazing world of aesthetics in 2022. As the body contouring specialist in our practice, I have completed extensive training in CoolSculpting and CoolTone treatments, earning myself a Master’s level certificate.

My favorite part of my job is seeing how happy and confident my patients are after receiving treatment, it truly never gets old! The transformation I see in my patients both on the outside and inside is so magical.

I am a self-proclaimed foodie, so I love trying new restaurants with my husband and spending time relaxing at home with our 2 furbabies.

Hi! My name is Justine, and I am an aesthetic provider at Mystique Medical Spa!
With over three years of experience in aesthetics, I’ve found my passion in making people look and feel amazing. My nursing journey has taken me through the wilds of emergency care, the iron-clad halls of corrections, the intense world of sexual assault forensic examination (SAFE nurse), and the hydrating realm of IV therapy. Now, I’m on my way to becoming a nurse practitioner, proving that even the sky isn’t my limit.

I’ve always had a love for beauty and aesthetics and knew that I would become an aesthetic injector one day! When I’m not treating all of my beautiful patients, you’ll find me rescuing dogs, hitting the slopes on my snowboard, hiking, or soaking up the sun by the lake.

Hello, my name is Tania. I have been at Mystique Medical Spa for six years now, and have also worked at our sister company, First Health Medical Center as a certified medical assistant. One thing I love about working in the aesthetics industry is seeing how each individual’s confidence level rises after being treated at our office. Aesthetic treatments are a complete game changer when it comes to self-confidence because we have the ability to address your specific concerns, leading to a fresher and more youthful YOU.

During my free time, I love spending time with my family. My special talents are cooking, making homemade corn tortillas and singing in the shower 🙂

Hi, my name is Xochitl, and I am a Client liaison at Mystique Medical Spa. I have been in the medical field since 2009 and am a Certified Medical Assistant as well as a Phlebotomist. After attending Coolsculpting University Masters, I now assist our providers with body contouring treatments such as CoolSculpting Elite and CoolTone. I started working at Mystique Medical Spa in 2022 and I love working in aesthetics. Seeing people gain their confidence back is truly such a special thing to be apart of and watch!

A fun fact about me is I am the DIY QUEEN in the office. I love to craft in my spare time and make all the pretty things.

Hi there! My name is Angela, and I am a Patient Consultant at Mystique Medical Spa. With over 26 years of experience in management, aesthetics and client services, I value being the go to person to help with any questions or concerns. I have my masters certification in body contouring treatments like CoolSculpting Elite and Cooltone! I’ve had these treatments myself, so I love talking about them and sharing my experience first hand.

My favorite part of working in aesthetics is meeting patients and connecting with them on many different levels. Having people look and feel their best while providing education on our products and services is a huge passion of mine. The best part of my day is having patients walk away feeling comfortable, confident, and excited. Being apart of this journey is so special to me.

As a born and raised Central Valley girl, I love spending time outdoors, attending a good concert and watching baseball (GO GIANTS!). I am blessed with two boys, they are both in high school and play baseball. When I am not at work, I am most likely at a baseball field somewhere in the area, or even hours or states away. A hobby I enjoy is sports photography. I love capturing action shots and the emotions of the players and getting to share these with friends. I also am a sucker for skin care and listening to Crime Junkies podcast! I can’t wait to see you in our practice!

My name is Idzia, and I am the office manager at Mystique Medical Spa! I have worked in many different medical fields such as; Radiology, Dermatology/Aesthetics and Orthopedics. After working in aesthetics for over 5 years, I can say with certainty that Aesthetics is my favorite field!

Working at Mystique has allowed me to combine my passion for leadership with helping our patients look and feel their best when they walk out of our office. At Mystique, we believe that customer service is extremely important, and I couldn’t agree more. I love interacting with all of our patients and being there when they have questions about their treatments.

In my spare time I love to travel to new destinations, and also spend time with my 16 year old son.

Hello everyone! My name is Shelby, and I am the Executive Assistant to the Chief Operating Officer at Mystique Medical Spa! I have been with the practice for over 6 years, and can honestly say that I have found my passion in the aesthetics field. I have worn many hats in the office such as Client Liaison, Social Media Coordinator and Marketing Manager. I am a licensed cosmetologist and a certified medical assistant, so I have both the beauty and medical knowledge in my back pocket, which comes in handy in our field.

I love working in aesthetics because I get to see all of our patients go through a positive self confidence journey, and I know that our entire team feels the same. Education is such a huge part of our industry and being able to share all of that knowledge with you through our team and social media brings me so much joy. Coming to the office every day doesn’t feel like “work”, it feels like coming home to a big, loud and warm family that I can count on to make me smile.

When I am not at the office, I am busy being a mom of two toddlers, which takes up most of my time, but I wouldn’t change it for the world. When I do have a moment to myself, I love curling up on the couch and reading a good romance book!

I’ve been part of the Mystique family for over 10 years and have had the opportunity to work in almost every position. This journey has given me a deep appreciation for the aesthetics industry and the incredible team I get to work with every day. Even though my role now is behind the scenes, I love being able to support our patients and ensure their experience with us is as seamless as possible. Mystique truly feels like home, and I’m grateful to be part of a team that is so passionate about what we do.

Outside of work, my greatest joy is spending time with my daughter and granddaughter. Family means everything to me, and I cherish every moment we share, whether it’s enjoying a quiet day together or making special memories.

Hi! My name is Trish and I am a licensed esthetician at Mystique Medical Spa, and could not ask for a better team supporting me to become the best provider I can be.

I have my Bachelor’s in Psychology from Fresno State University, however, skincare has always had my heart. 7 years ago, I began my journey as an esthetician, evolving from traditional facials, to treating patients with medical grade devices and products.

The best part about my job is meeting so many fun and amazing people, while educating and helping others build their confidence through treatments and skincare products. I learned the true importance of skincare through my own skin journey, suffering from acne and post inflammatory hyperpigmentation after years without wearing sunscreen, so I know what it’s like to not love the skin you’re in.

In my downtime, I LOVE to read, so you can find me curled up on the couch with my kindle.

Hi, my name is Andrew and I have been a client liaison here at Mystique Medical Spa for just over a year. I have been working in the medical field for three years now, and love seeing all of you in our office. I enjoy working in aesthetics because I get to help our patients gain their confidence back! I have learned so much while working in aesthetics, and as someone who has struggled with my skin, I love being a part of someone’s transformation journey.

A fun fact about me is that I love to garden! I spend most of my free time tending to my veggie garden and house plant collection!

Hi, my name is Lea, and I have the privilege of serving as a Client Liaison Mystique Medical Spa in our communications department. With 4 years of experience in the aesthetic and beauty industry, I’ve had the pleasure of working at various wellness centers where my roles mainly focused on sales and ensuring patient satisfaction. My journey into medical aesthetics began a year ago when I joined the incredible team at Mystique Medical Spa. This step marked a significant milestone in my career, and I’ve been passionate about every moment since. I genuinely love the products and services we offer, because I’ve seen the incredible results from the treatments in the before and after photos. It’s incredibly rewarding to watch the transformation and the boost in confidence our patients experience. The energy in our office is contagious, with everyone sharing the same dedication to helping others feel and look their best.
